Catherine Burleigh: I think sports plays a valuable role in kind of bringing us together and emphasizing our common bonds. One of the best stories in 2022 was Hansel Emanuel, who lost an arm in an accident when he was a child but never gave up on his dream to be a basketball star. And it is to me a reminder that if you believe in yourself, keep working. Never give up that you can do great things.
