The Fair Housing Act Changed the Way Housing Works
The Fair Housing Act is a step in the direction of trying to make it hard, very hard to enforce racial segregation anymore. The most obvious one is age, because private communities are allowed under state and federal law to discriminate on the basis of age. And so you can create a seniors community, and if you restrict it to people 55 and over, that is actually allowed.
