The Police in Action Fraud
Fraud accounts for 41% of all crime but less than 1% of law enforcement is focused on tackling it. The home office told us it's committed to preventing fraud and crucially will be publishing its fraud strategy shortly. Another email we've had on this subject came from Ruth who lost £2,500 after being targeted in a scam and then groomed by criminals.
