The Importance of Transdisciplinary Expertise in Medical Research
Dr. Mar: I want to emphasize that all the research that I've done with my collaborators over the past decade plus has been very transdisciplinary and would not have happened without cooperation and collaboration of virologists, medical doctors, and epidemiologists. And so let's do more of that. We need to respect each other's fields and expertise and see how we can contribute to help each other understand our own fields better. That deserves the utmost highlighting.
