I think often Christianity is what the scriptures can be weaponized against women. But if you look at Jesus, the way that Jesus elevated the role of women, it was women who found him outside of the tomb. He made a point to elevate women at a time when they were third-rate citizens. I don't get caught up in a lot of the nuances, but I know what Jesus says about women. And that's what's most important to me.
