Hadrian and Antinous - A Brief History

Hadrian's last stop in asia minor was the province of bithynia pontus. While passing through claudiopolis he may have first met antinous. Hadrian then crossed the aegean and settled into athens for the winter. No record exists of when the two first met, but this is as likely a time as any. iwo very much like to get hadrian back to italy before we close out this week's episode. So i'm just going to leave it that this is the time hadrian may have first laid eyes on the boy.
