I don't like the balancing metaphor because that still makes it sound to me like these, like the views are sort of fundamentally in conflict with one another and one has to find a compromise or a midpoint. And I think that what seems more true to me is that, you know, these different thinkers and these different lines of thought have different things most centrally in view.
