I think that the time of China being very ambiguous about its role in the global affairs, it's over. In fact, China had to side with Russia in order to avoid a three-front scenario. The lesson learned here is you need military exposures. You need military muscle. And you need boots on the ground. I don't think they have solved this issue yet.
