The Failure of Israel to Stand With God
Paul says Israel's failure to accept the righteousness of God was revealed at a crucial moment. He argues that they were blind to what God was doing in Christ, and rejected it as unbelief. Paul: The problem was not with the law itself, but sinful flesh which reacted against its spiritual purpose. In Christ, the law can finally achieve its intended goal, he writes.
