Introduction
When we think about repleting patients potassium, we want to have some concept of how much potassium deficit they have. So as you get down to potassium of two, patients are actually going to have like hundreds of mcs deficit. And also, when you're just putting in ten mill equivalents an hour through a perfoali v, it's going to take forever to replete that exactly. The problem there is that the deficit is in the cells, and we're obviously giving potassium into the blood, into the small of extra cellular fluid. If we give it too rapidly, that will increase the potassium level, and that'll be dangerous. It's really frustrating where there's this huge
