Other adverse effects are less likely to be mistaken for malignancy on the basis of correlative ct findings. Drug induce numenitus is a relatively common adverse effect, seen about 20 of 100 patients treated with anti neoplastic agents. An accurate diagnosis can help guide clinical decision making and potentially modifying oncologic theorapy.
