Do You Think a Recession Will Make More Owners House Poor?

There's an expression called house poor to describe people who maxed out on their homes they bought and don't have a lot of extra cash. Do you think a recession will make more owners house poor? I think you will make those who were already on the fringe, meaning they budgeted around the low interest rates. And sometimes we do need to look at cutting back their savings until, you know, just so that they can get by.
