Is There a Need for Another G?

North America, where Ericsson makes 30% of its revenues, is projected to drop 7%. There's obviously a lot of retrenchment going on there. And pretty much everyone switched off their 1G and 2G networks,. So you'll soon only see 4G or 5G on your phone. Those little decimal points of G's really wire me up. I suspect Omdir says a similar theory. But what no one questions is the inevitability of technological progress.
