The Effects of Status on Friendship
The well-connected individuals generally have a broader sense of normative neural responses beyond just friendship. So if there were someone who didn't have as many friends but had a very tight network where person A, person B and person C are all reporting each other as friends did you see any effects of all three of those friends being more similar so is it like predicting something like friendship and closeness or is it really just this idea of popular people or processing the world in a more of a general normative way? Yeah I think some of this work is really interesting because it does seem to show that the influence of your friends may be even bigger than we think.
