The Skelet of Death

The soldier collapsed inside half crawling half falling down the rough earthen steps until he found himself lying there in the dark dry warmth of the basement. He cried and begged death not to take him but death was silent. Reaching into its robe death pulled out three things. A chest knight, a domino and a pair of dice each scrims shored out of old bone. The choice presented was clear but the soldier had enough wit about him to shake his head and reach into his pouch. There was silence for several long minutes before it nodded its head.
