Figma was designed to be more approachable than configuration-based tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. The toolbars were removed from the app because they made it too confusing for people, says designer Andrew Wozniacki. "We spent a lot of work on this trying to just keep ourselves and on the rails," he adds.
