Jim Carson: Inflation may lead to short-term volatility, but it's actually long-term. Communities will probably start trading at lower multiples as a consequence of rising inflation over time. If we look at the consequences for asset allocation, the straightforward conclusion on bonds is to stay away from them in a secular inflation trend. And if we look at commodities, golden silver work as decent long-term hatches against inflation with a bit of volatility around the trend.
