Are You Using the Book of Isaiah?
The book of isaiah squarely places the blame for poverty and suffering among jehovah's covenant people in ancient judah, on those who had riches, power and privilege. Social injustice, including the mistreatment of the poor, were a form of covenant violation. One of the four major missions of the church is caring for the needy. We can oppose those who divide wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying wordse from isaiah 32.
