How to Run a Skill Challenge?

A skill challenge is this idea that you have a certain number of successes with different types of skills that you need to succeed on. Your players need to pass before they reach a certain nuber of failures. Three failures leads to the situation you do not succeed, you fail. So once you reach three, you're done. For me, m sudding, it goes back to, like, the speed of play. Like, if i am clearly trying to speed up the play to something meaningful, h we're going to do a series of skill checks.
