Is There Anything Super Special About Fruits and Vegetables?

Fruit and vegetables are great, but to round out all of the different vitamins and minerals we need, we're probably going to need to reach for some other items. So ultimately I started taking away some fruits and vegetables because I could get those nutrients elsewhere while keeping the cost low. And so you might realize, okay, well, maybe that fruit or vegetable doesn't really give me the diversity that I need.
