Sutra Tantra

Tibetan culture was largely monastic. And so, but so there was a sort of sutric tantra. In other words, the images were there, the philosophy was there. And that's what you would spend most of your life sort of playing with that and try to understand that. And then a few weird guys would go off and do actual tantra. We also may be in a unique world historical circumstance now where some of the things we associate with tantra are required of a much greater range of people.
