The State of India's Witness Protection Scheme

India has a visual blowers protection act in 2011, which was passed during the anti-corruption moment. And then we also have a witness protection scheme from 2018, which wants to provide some level of protection to all the witnesses if they make an application for it. I don't know how successful this is. One or two people have been given some kind of protection, but the kind of witness protection that is envisaged is yet to take any kind of institutional shape.
