The History of Tubes in the 80s
Tubes were not super popular in the 80s. David Manley kind of led because he was a very outgoing and outspoken person. He really led this campaign to bring tubes back into the mainstream. And then after that, in the early 90s, you had in the high-fi world, you had companies like Carry Audio or Sonic Frontiers. This whole flood of all the single-ended stuff and all this real love for tube gear really came back in the 90s.
