The Future We Get Is How Fast We Go
This is going to take a massive amount of money, and in particular, investment from levels of government. Even up here in canada, it can be really difficult to get governments to commit to long term projects like this. What we need is a politics that is ast rate, that sees both the ecological necessity of sustain ability and the ecologicalnecessity of ruggedization as top priorities. It might be that some cities really do a lot of work and mobilize the resources they need to to torugadize on a big scale - but many don't.
