The Gil Sandlin of Hous - A Film About My Babysitter Who Died

Rojek: I wanted to do a film about my babysitter who died in 2000 while she was fighting. So the idea was to make a film about her journey, who knew her and her journey from Montreal to Iraq and Kurdistan. After making this film about Kurdish women fighters, most of the women died in the United States. And so then with Nicola and Arshia, we thought what we can do in Syria that no one did or that we think it's impossible to do.
