Hegel's Thesis Antithesis, Synthesis, Isn't Dialectical?
Hegel doesn't believe that there's ever just a thesis articulated, because he believes every claim that's made implies the contrary claim. In hegel's thought, that every point that you would get to, that would seem like it's the ultimate point, is always self undermining. So we move toward greater contradiction, not toward the elimination of it.
