Is This Like a Lord of the Rings?

The film is about a group of men who try to rob and murder a widow. The main character, Coleman Francis (Chastain) shoots the wife before raping her daughter. Chastain then makes a run for it but ends up being gunned down by a helicopter. "I thought, is this like a Lord of the Rings? Just larceness and a murderous fuck," says director Javier Bardem.
