Theologians are coming up with new and better analogies for theological concepts from the psychological science. It really depends on what area of theology, not just where they are in the tradition, but also what kind of theology they're doing. I think it's those domains where there may be a little bit more initial defensiveness in engaging the sciences. Scientists have earned sometimes their fault, sometimes not their fault, but this reputation of having all the answers.
