How to Minimize Cold Side Oxygen Exposure
The chances that oxygen's even making its way into your fermentation vessel during transfer is so slim. If you're like the majority of brewers out there, you're not taking 100% of that beer and putting it in your keg or your bottles,. You're leaving a good half a gallon in the fermentation vessel. It's not even making it into the package anyways. And when we looked at pushing beer out of a fermentation vessel using CO2 versus allowing air to come in and do it, there was no difference.
