The Power of Listening to Music

I used to do that all the time, sit down with people and play music. But now you feel stupid because the stuff that I had that no one else had is now available. Still my favorite thing in the world to do is go over to Eddie Gourdetsky's house who has hundreds of thousands of records but hasn't played any stuff. That moment that you described, it's a powerful thing to do from one person to another. It's really hard to develop your taste later in life.
