How Michael Created a New Solomon Islander Identity

JV spent an hour and forty minutes scrubbing himself clean in Port Moresby. He then made it to the neighbouring Solomon Islands illegally where he began creating a new identity so that he could wangle a passport. To do that he would have to persuade the authorities that he was in fact a native which meant learning the language and doing something about his appearance. It took six months but with his reddened teeth and his basic language skills he then felt ready to face an interview with the passport office.
