The island of dellos was the birthplace of apollo and his sister artemas. The atmosphere of delphi, if you go there, is still absolutely stunning. It's an extraordinary place, and you can feel its its power. At one time, 20 thousand people lived on dalos - a tiny island laden with treasure.
