Back Sabbath were a bunch of working class guys from Birmingham, grew up in the 50s and 60s. They used to work in literally heavy metal factories, smashing sheet metal together in industrial circumstances. All day they would hear the sounds of heavy metal smashing against heavy metal. Then in the evenings they used to get together in the studio and make this kind of music. It's the birth of heavy metal. Tony Iomi, the elite guitarist, shot off the end of one of his fingers in that factory. It was replaced with a metal cap. In this track, Ozzy chooses to sing about a wizard bass, solo is looking for consideration.
