There are two ways to diagnose the covert infection. The first is a pc r test that must be done in a sophisticate laboratory and can take up to three days to complete. And then there are the at home antagen base tests, similar to drug store sold pregnancy tests. Require higher viral loads to become positive, leading to some false negative results. If you want maximal certainty about whether a person is infected, and you can wait 24 to forty ours use the pc r. If you Want information on relative risk of transmissability and desire the answer quickly, use an enthegent base test.
