What Are Pseudo Elements?
Pseudo elements are almost always, they're intended to be targeting something structural about the content of the subject that you're targeting. The next type of selector are complex selectors. And these are selectors that look for relationships between elements. Unfortunately, you can't style a parent element, but you can style that parents children or style the parent itself based on its parent.
