A lot of the book deals with Bob Duggan and pharmaceuticals. But it also deals with another BTK inhibitor, now called Calquence. The foundation of that company was from a team of people who were at pharmaceuticals. To me, they seem to be motivated by like greed, resentment, ego, revenge.
