NATO intelligence believes that Russia is really having this struggle to get going. They've seen Russia pour vast resources into attempting to make games of literally 100 yards a day. These conscripts have gone in with very minimal training and very minimal equipment, which is unlikely to have a serious impact on the battlefield.
