There's a myth that chemical sunscreens need to be applied first because they need to absorb into skin. People think mineral sunscreens also completely reflect blue light, which is not the case. A lot of younger consumers do tend to be more open-minded about trying to find evidence sometimes so maybe it will just naturally change as dermatologists get older and like people filter up through ranks.
