The Athenians and the Spy Boats - A New Battle Plan for the Athens

The athenians have been cooking up a plan of their own to try to lure the spartans into battle. But lysander had picked this as the day for his decisive blow. Lysander brings with him a large contingent of marines, hoplight warriors, led by a spartan general. When they reach the athenian base, they jump out and launch a vicious, amphibious assault. And so in four years, 27 years into the greatest, bloodiest war that ever fought among men, on this day at agos potame, all hope of democracy was lost.
