The Revenant by Leonardo DiCaprio Is a Very Classical Framework
I always have like some issues with that allegory because I feel like it can be applied to so many movies. It's just such a archetypal framework where you could symbolically apply it to a lot of movies without it being a deliberate or like distinct allegorical construct. For example for another Leonardo DiCaprio movie the Revenant to me did feel like a sort of purgatory-ish movie.
