I've Bought Out All the Undergrad Trombone Players and All the Master Students
As a freshman, i've beaten out all the other undergrad trumpet players and all the master students. Just forty five seconds, tell my solo. Ever since junior high school, solos have been my thing. But to night, something isn't quite right. My breathing is too shallow, too fast. I'm sweating. This has never happened to me before. All the delicate little muscles of my face are trembling. The weight of everything crystallizes into this one moment. If i frack a note, if i rush it, i'll arthis piece, stain it for everyone.
