The Joy of Receiving a Nobel Prize
The Hubble Telescope has seen the most distant star yet recorded, and Hubble is still remarkably working well. I was on the science management team for each of the servicing missions that had to plan and then practice many times before any given servicing mission. How does that change the way you view these photographs versus someone like me, complete, you know, non astrophysicist? Well, I can interpret it based on my experiences, what I'm seeing, but it is still remarkable that we can see very distant galaxies.
