Iwd ot on the external world. Often when i talked to people about what sucks up their time the most, they talk about emales and messages. I would usually encourage people to have a talk about internal communication. Can we stop emailing each other? Can we just talk? Can we go and have lunch and get all this dealt with,. rather than again this kind of james joy stream of consciousness all day. And actually, in most organizations that i work in, those aren't the people that do well. Those who are got their heads down in their job are not net working. They simply don't get promoted.
