The Lethal Sin of Anger: Justice and Power
Bob Greene: When we talk about the deadly sin of anger, part of the idolatry is justice and power. He says when that sets into our heart as a vow and a determination it's tied in with beliefs. The other thing I felt or the other word that came to his mind was trust or lack of trust. And so he recalls an experience where someone hurt him but then asked him to go back and wash their feet for her because she had been working 12 hours on her feet. "My goodness. That was such an intense learning experience, which was so different from the usual pattern," writes Greene.
