The Perseverance of Digital Information

I'm one of the co-founders of the Well Now Foundation. One of the very first projects that we looked at was the Perseverance of Digital Information because it is so bound to these platforms which go obsolete very, very fast. And I think that long-term transmission of digital information is a challenge and there is a couple of people who are doing interesting things as an alternative. The same guy has a warehouse in Richmond, California where he stores books on pallets wrapped in plastic.
