A Thought of Central Desire Arose in Me
Buddha: This thought of central desire has arisen in me. It obstructs wisdom, causes difficulties, and leads away from the Bana. When I considered this leads to my own affliction, this thought of sense desire subsided. And when I considered it leads to others affliction, it subsided in me. So this is the Buddha telling us how he reflected when a thought of sense want arose.
