This episode begins with em being like, a dramatic escalation that is now going to quiet for a few weeks. The single existential, defining threat of season two is utterly opaque at this point and almost almost ludicrous. I would rather have him dropped out of nowhere and give us what we got. But again, all that said, i don't actually care about how we got there.
