Are You Dependent on Immunosuppressive Medication?

The reason we prescribe medication is to sustainably help people, right? So i'm going to ask you all a question. Let's say i've a heart transplant, and as part of my heart transplant, i've to take immuno suppressive medication every single day. Now this begs the question, am i now dependent on immuno suppressed medication? Well, i sort of, right? I'm notme like i guess i could stop taking it.
