Is There a Wariness Between Silicon Valley and the Pentagon?
In the not so distant past, there was a bit of wariness between Silicon Valley and the Pentagon that went both ways. There's two moments that capture what many see as peak tensions between these two stalwart institutions. The first is, I think, Secretary of Defense Ash Carter creating hubs within Austin or California to get people excited about working with the military. But then on other hand, you have a whole new generation who are saying, slow down, we do not want to rush integrating these technologies into our arsenals.
