The Outer Space Treaty
There is a treaty that has been in place since 1967. 112 countries signed on to it over time, the outer space treaty. It prohibits nuclear weapons in space but doesn't prohibit weapons. Prohibits countries from claiming sovereignty over bodies. So if Elon Musk wants to go set up a plot on the moon and say this is Musk Country, well, I don't think there's anything that can stop him.
